Troopers Lodge #41 is the collective-bargaining and fraternal organization representing the sworn and retired men and women of the Illinois State Police.
Improving the lives of those who serve
With more than 270 lodges in Illinois, Troopers Lodge #41 of the Fraternal Order of Police is the second largest in the state — representing approximately 3,200 sworn and retired troopers.
The Lodge is the voice of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting and serving the many citizens of Illinois. Troopers Lodge #41 is dedicated to improving the working conditions of the men and women of the Illinois State Police through legislation and employee representation.

Collective bargaining
Negotiating contracts that protect wages, benefits, and working conditions for the men and women of the Illinois State Police.
Legislative advocacy
Representing trooper interests in Springfield and Washington on legislation affecting law enforcement and public safety.
Member representation
Providing legal defense, grievance representation, and support for members through disciplinary processes and on-duty incidents.
Family support
Standing with the families of active-duty and retired troopers — including those facing illness, line-of-duty injury, or loss.
Fraternal community
Affiliated with the Fraternal Order of Police, the oldest and largest law-enforcement labor organization in the United States.
Retired troopers
Continuing representation for retired members — many of whom served the State of Illinois for decades.

Our membership includes the active-duty sworn officers of the Illinois State Police along with retired troopers who served the State across decades of changing demands.
Together, our members protect the citizens of Illinois across all 102 counties — from highway patrol to investigations, from rural communities to the largest metropolitan areas in the state.
